We decided to go shopping yesterday for our chair and a half, a Christmas gift from Mr. JuJu's parents. It is well into January and our only job is to go pick one out and put it on my mother-in-law's credit card. I know, tough stuff. Apparently too tough for us. We've gone to three stores and haven't found anything. We sat on our asses watching football (go Steelers!) yesterday and ventured out at almost 6 pm, on a Sunday. You see where I am going with this...of course nothing was open.
So instead we went out to eat (picking a booth with an excellent view of the TV showing the game) and took the kids to B0rders to use some coupons and gift cards. Which brings me to my question for you, the wise and beautiful world wide internets. I settled on this book and wanted to get any feedback that I could on purification. I'm not some crazy- hippie- granola crunching-feng shui practicing-kaballah worshipping-yoga instructor, but I have to admit that I am exhausted, sick all of the time, putting on some extra pounds (damn holiday cookies and yummy buffalo chicken dip!) and just generally feeling BLAH. I have always been interested in the whole body cleansing deal, but would never put myself through something like those colonic things or the crazy body wrap toxin sucking treatments. I'm sure to be offending some with this paragraph...I apologize.
So if anyone out there has had some experience in this area, please comment and share your thoughts. I've only gotten a few pages into the book and am learning all about how your body deals with cleaning itself...it really is an amazing thing. Also, please tell me if this is gross and I will be smelling funny. In that case...I'll just have to be tired. I rather like smelling pretty and fresh.
Oh right, it's delurking day, or week or whatever...so you know what to do. Feed the ego, people!!
