But I'll tell him that you are really pissed he didn't show up this week.
We went to the fair on Monday evening. The weather was beautiful and the children were on their best behavior. It was...an unexpected surprise? We still put Madeline into an umbrella stroller for outings such as this. I'd like to be able to let her walk around and explore her surroundings a bit, and I do when the situation allows it, but WOW...have you seen some of the people that go to these fairs? No way my curious little monkey is going to walk around that place without a five point tether strapping her down. She is the female human equivalent to Curious George.
This was their first fair, LittleJuJu's second (but he was too little to remember the first one.) The big, fast, scary, loud rides freaked the little lady out and the very loud sheep (BAAAAAAAA) freaked the baby out but otherwise, all phobias were put to rest for the day. LittleJuJu had his picture taken with Spiderman for the bargain price of 10 bucks (WTF?) so he could have died happy at that moment. I will include some pictures, fair related and non-fair related but then I need to run. Tomorrow is the BIG DAY, so I have a lot to do today.
What does the piggie say, Maddie? MOOOOO! Well, no.
For my mom, lover of floppy ears.
Do your fairs have albino camels?
My boys...Maddie is flying up on my knees.
This would be a great shot...minus the binky
LittleJuJu catching some fish on the testosterone fueled man trip to Hay Lake.
Dude! LilJujube is HUGE!
I can't believe how big he is.
wow

I'm glad brave folks like you have three kids to balance out our one.
Can't remember the last time I went to the Fair, and it's in large part due to the reason you mentioned you won't let your little one out of the stroller. Yikes!

Mark, the good stuff at fairs far outweigh any crazies you might spot. And even some of them are harmless. Get yourself some pepper spray and TAKE BEN TO THE FAIR.
Great pictures, Ju. And I love the floppy ears! :-)
I am reserving the right to remain stubborn by not wishing you good luck tomorrow.
Do what I told you; have the kids eating snacks off the kitchen floor like they always do ;-)
