So, here it is...Wednesday (had to consult the calender) November 15th. As long as this month seems to be dragging on, it is equally flying by at record speed. If that makes sense. If it doesn't, screw you, it makes sense to me and I'm very pregnant and pissy, so don't disagree with me or you'll regret it. Oh sorry.
This morning I had my final prenatal check-up. I am scheduled to be induced at 6 am on Tuesday if this child doesn't come before then. Who in the hell wants to have a baby at 6 am? Couldn't we have scheduled something later in the day, like after I've had a chance to spend the day with my children, get them all clean and into jammies, leaving them with a smooch on their little blonde heads and then heading to the hospital where I would be induced and have the baby just in time for bed? I mean as if I have not been inconvenienced enough already. GOD.
So anyway...I am measuring a whopping FOUR (4) centimeters now. I whined and bitched about that a little and the doc told me maybe he could try and help me along some, so he was up there doing whatever they do to "help things along" (No,we did not have sex, as my husband asked when I got home) and it hurt like hell and so now I'm at home and feeling icky with some contractions here and there, although nothing regular or very strong yet. So? Maybe he did in fact help me along and maybe we will be having a baby in the next day or so, but I'm not counting on it. We know what happens when I count on things, don't we?
I can't fathom that this child, my third child, has been in the womb longer than either of the other two now. I just don't get it. Human life is amazing to me.
Ouch...contraction.
BabyJuJu has a cold and will not sleep. She has been in her crib for almost an hour now. I went up a few minutes ago and she had pooped, so I had to bring her down and change her. She's now back in her crib calling, "Maaaamaaaa. MaMAAA.MAMA. Mama?"
She's had a vocabulary BOOM over the last few days, picking up a few new words a day. I love it. Of the words I can recall off of the top of my head this week: Elmo, bubble, balloon, apple, cup, up, down, UPANDDOWN, zipper...there are more, but her jabbering is driving me too insane to concentrate on writing right now, so before I explode, I should probably go.
If things progress today, I will try to hop on and announce departure to the hospital. Wish me luck, and regular intervals of pain.
What a weird thing to wish for.
I'm so excited. Looking forward to the news. Get rid of babyJuJu's cold before the baby comes. You don't want both of them up all night! Easier said than done, I know. Good luck.

Here's hoping you don't need to be induced. And that you get to the hospital in time for the drugs. ;)

6am... eek that is a bad time. I mean if your going to have a scheduled birth time atleast make it like lunch time or early afternoon. That way you can take a nap before things or something :-) 6am is way to early haha
