So about this blogroll to the right...

If any of you have found yourselves bored one day, twiddling your thumbs and deciding, "Hey! Maybe I'll peruse JuJuBee's blogroll...for shits and giggles!" and then you started at the top and maybe went through a few blogs that are on everybody in the world's blogroll and then after that, you click on a few that don't even work, and then some that maybe, MAYBE have been updated in the last century and then you ask yourself, "Self? JuJuBee really needs to get this shit straightened out. What a mess."

Oh, that was just me? Oh.

I need your help. I am cleaning house today. Blog house. Maybe also even going through LittleJuJu's baby clothes and getting those washed for the new baby because if you haven't noticed...over on the right...that little box in the sidebar that says EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT. Yeah. I have much to do and this baby might actually enjoy wearing clothes. Purely for warmth, as he will be born sometime while it is COLD outside.

Oh right. Blogroll.

Consider Me Melted

Each morning LittleJuJu goes out to the driveway to wait for his bus. This kid is all kinds of paranoid when it comes to being late for things, so he will usually want to be outside waiting at 7:50 for the bus that comes around 8:10. Yes Folks, 20 minutes early. He's not screwing around. I can usually distract him enough to keep him in the house until 8 if I am lucky. Otherwise he is out there standing, waiting, kicking rocks, kicking the newspaper, singing a song, making faces at us through the window...

The baby eats her breakfast while he waits for his bus. Her highchair is right beside the front window. When she hears the bus chugging up the road she SQUEALS and says, "Bye Bye! Bye Bye!" and then I push her chair over to the window so we can watch him get onto the bus and wave goodbye. We do this every morning with me saying, "Bye bye! Have a good day at school...bye bye school bus!" and she waves and waves and waves.

Today was different. Today she looked sad. She waved pitifully as she looked on after her big brother and as he climbed those huge stairs up and onto the bus she simply said, "Bye bye Jew-ee-ann." and then she let out a long sigh.

SHE SAID HIS NAME! She was sad and she said his name! I know. The sweetness is overwhelming and you all couldn't care an iota less, but me? Well, I'm hormonal and just...wow.

She said his name.

This is Oddly Refreshing and I Recommend it Wholeheartedly

I have seen this meme at a couple different places and it really intrigued me. Also, as you might have been able to tell, I have been a total lazy-ass slacker really quite busy these days being pregnant and miserable. Shockingly, feeling fat and miserable doesn't translate well into well written posts full of wit and humor. What better way to jump back into my little corner of the world wide internets than with a meme!? Glorious! Also? In case you wondered? This is totally not about YOU.

LIST TEN THINGS YOU WANT TO SAY TO PEOPLE YOU KNOW BUT YOU NEVER WILL, FOR WHATEVER REASON.  DON'T SAY WHO THEY ARE.  USE EACH PERSON ONLY ONCE.*

1) I don't hate you, but I do feel sorry for you. You will never know what you missed by making such an inexcusable choice. I'm not sure how you live with that everyday.

2) I wish that you would ask yourself a few questions, the most important being, "What do I hope to gain by doing this to myself and the people who love me?".

3) Don't give up your dreams because you might feel "stuck". You are never stuck and your life is what you make of it. You deserve better and you deserve more. You deserve your dreams come true.

4) I'm sorry for what I did to you. I was stupid and young and foolish. I learned my lesson.

5) Thank you for showing me the ways in which I will never allow or tolerate my daughter to be treated by a man.

6) Don't blame the world for your problems. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back into the game. It's not as easy for everyone else as you might think it is.

7) She's no good for you.

8) When you talk badly about everyone around you, you only make yourself look completely insecure. I love gossip as much as the next gal, but there is a fine line between sharing the latest water cooler snark, and finding fault in everyone but yourself.

9) My feelings are just as important as yours. Please don't discount them.

10) It's not a contest. (This is meant for many people and for many different reasons)

Marry A Sports Guy OR How to Gain Special Treatment at the OBGYN

My OBGYN practice is composed of three doctors. All men. There used to be a woman thrown in the mix, but she has either gone or I have not had a visit with her and haven't seen her in the office milling about acting all doctorly like those doctor people tend to do.

I tell you about the male to female ratio because of this: Men like football. My husband's job currently revolves around football. The men doctors, they know this. They are surrounded by females all day long...nurses, patients, babies (yes, some are male babies but they don't count) and so when they see me come in? They think for some reason that I am able to talk football with them.

They would be wrong.

After I come in, do the pee in the cup deal, get blood drawn for the gestational diabetes test, do a few somersaults and juggle eight basketballs on my head, the doctor finally comes in. Not even a hello.

"What a game!"

"Hello there. Hum, the game? Oh yeah, right. Last night."

"Football speak speak speak...blah blah football blah...OH... how are you feeling?"

"Well, pretty good so far, except that the Otha-"

"More football speak speak blah blah blah...goes on forever..."

I did eventually get him to check me out and talk about pregnancy and baby related issues for a few minutes. Thankfully he is sympathetic to my husband's crazy work hours and we decided on an inducement date, should Mr. JuJu happen to be traveling when I go into labor. If I make it to 38 weeks, which I guess is doubtful, then we are going to induce November 21st. A nice boring Tuesday (what is Tuesday's child again? Full of Grace or full of shit or something?). At least we can be sure the daddy will be present and accounted for and I will have someone to puke on (again) during labor.

I've gained 25 pounds so far. I think it is concentrated in my ass, thighs, boobs and upper arms. Maybe alittle in my face and belly. I gained 30 with Madeline and most of it was in the belly. After she was born, I was able to wear all of my old clothes...like two days later. This time? I'm thinking ahhhh NO. NOTSOMUCH. Carrying boys makes me fat. I guess I can deal with it this one last time.

So that's the news that fit to print, or however that saying goes ( I have a way up screwing up popular sayings so that they kinda make sense but not really) and also I doubt that any of you actually print my posts, thought you really should think about it. At least you can print me monthly letters to BabyJuJu so that you can make a pretty journal type scrapbook for me. That was my plan, to post here and also incorporate the posts into her babybook...you know, like killing 3 geese with one boulder or something.
