I don't have a whole hell of a lot to write about, life is slowly changing around here as this pregnancy gets closer and the baby moves into a new phase. A phase that involves lots of balance and balls. We call it the Oh Shit She Finally Realized That She Can WALK phase. Yeah, the baby is walking. Not much, just a step here and there when we sit on the floor with her and encourage it. Mostly she is still walking along the furniture and pushing her highchair all over the dining room and walking behind it. Once in awhile she will look at me to make sure I see and she will let go of whatever it is that she has been holding onto and she will stand unassisted for a moment. She always looks at me like, "See this? Do you see that I am totally the shit?!", then she finds something shiny to play with. She has also been talking and talking and talking gibberish non-stop all day long and it is the funniest thing you've ever heard. If she thinks that you are mocking her, she will stop, but if you play along and pretend to have a clue as to what she is saying, she will go on forever...Can't wait to see those phone bills one day.
My in-laws were here for the weekend and we basically just hung around the house. The car is fixed, the closets are fixed, the baby's 12th tooth finally came in and we all got out of the house today for a trip to the mall. Today has been not so bad, which is a huge step up from the "please kill me now" days I have been having lately. Thanks for all of your emails and comments intended to cheer me up. They mean the world to me. I'm blaming hormones. It's my given right as a female, no?
I've been having those "kill me now days" for like the past week. Only three weeks left until school and it can't come SOON ENOUGH!

It certainly IS our given right. Especially if you are pregnant. DOUBLE especially if you are pregnant and have a 1yr old learning to walk at home.
heh.

Glad you're feeling semi-human. Hoping we can get together soon.....the baby gibberish stage is my all-time favorite.
